AnyDrop is a new Cydia tweak developed by Majd Alfhaily (FreeManRepo) that allows you to send/receive any file on your iDevice (including music and videos) using AirDrop on compatible devices. The tweak is available on Cydia for $1.99 and it’s available for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

The tweak is super simple to get started with as it requires “zero configuration”, just download AnyDrop from the BigBoss repo and open the AnyDrop icon on your homescreen, from there you can browse your device’s filesystem or tap the media tab at the bottom and select photos, music or videos to send. Once you have chosen your file you just tap the send button and you can select your destination from nearby AirDrop devices. One requirement for this tweak to work is that the receiving device must also have the tweak installed.

AnyDrop is great jailbreak tweak for extending the functionality of AirDrop by allowing you to send and receive any file with support for transfer speeds of up to 20mb/s. This tweak really is a must have for any jailbreak enthusiast especially for those with more than one device. As stated above, you can install AnyDrop via the BigBoss repo on Cydia for just $1.99 and to transfer files using AnyDrop the other device must also have AnyDrop installed.
