Announced last October, the OnePlus 3T is one of the best Android phones on the market. The Chinese producer is a small company when compared to other smartphone manufacturers, and originally started by selling only high-end smartphones.
However, they changed their direction in 2016 when they released two very similar phones within the space of six months. The more recent one is the 3T, which we’re talking about today. The design of the two is identical, but the performance of the 3T is far superior.
Aesthetically pleasing, in aluminium, well-detailed and easy to handle, the OnePlus 3T already gives a good impression. The display is a 5.5″ Optic AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1080×1920 giving it a pixel density of 401ppi, this allows it to display real colors and have a very high contrast.
On the back of the phone is a camera with a sensor that can offer a resolution of 16 megapixels and a lens with a focal opening of f/2.0, this has optical stabilisation and allows 4K video capture. On the front, the camera is also 16MP, but doesn’t have built-in optical stabilisation.
While the hardware’s performances are identical to those of the older OnePlus 3, the same goes for the software, with the same version of OxygenOS.
An huge feature in terms of functionality of the OnePlus3T is battery that, with 400mAh more than its former, allows the 3T to last a few hours longer which lets you use it heavily for a whole day.
Other features include a fingerprint recognition system and rapid charging with the technology Dash Charge in order to prevent the battery to be damaged in any way thanks to the internal temperature control.
To conclude, this smartphone seems overall complete and functional. At £459.99 it surely is a proportionate sum considering the OnePlus 3T can satisfy all needs.
