Marvel studios started off as a simple series of comic books (original comic series Amazing Fantasy). Today however, these are only a fraction of their profits. There’s T-shirts, video games, actions figures and other merchandise as well as the Marvel movies, be it Fox (X men for example), Sony (Spider Man for example)or pure Marvel (the Avengers for example). However, in their comic book multiverse they’re top 3 most famous and treasured characters are Spider Man (first appeared in Amazing Fantasy #15, 1962), Wolverine (first appeared in The Incredible Hulk #180, 1974) and Deadpool (first appeared in New Mutants #98, 1991).
