Apple announced an updated MacBook Air today that boasts more power-efficient processors, a faster PCI-e flash drive and a lower price point.
The new 11-inch MacBook Air offers a 1.4 GHz dual-core i5 processor, Turbo Boost speeds of up to 2.7 GHz and nine hours of battery life. The base model, priced at £749 (US$899), comes with 4GB memory and 128GB flash storage. A 250GB version is available for £899 (US$1,099).
The 13-inch model has similar specifications, though carries a 12-hour battery life. Prices start at £849 (US$999) for the base 128GB model and £999 (US$1,199) for 250GB of storage.
