The 802.11ac Wi-Fi standard arrived a few years ago and has become the new standard for long enough, it has found its way into everything except the cheapest phones and laptops. Qualcomm has announced a pair of chips compatible with the new 802.11ax standard. An Unskippable 1 minute YouTube Ad
Are you one of the many users who visibly groan when you are try to show a YouTube video to a friend, but an unskippable ad pops up? Perhaps, it is time for you to rejoice. In an official statement, Google explained that it aims to provide a more balanced advertising experience for it’s consumers. “As part of that, we’ve decided to stop supporting 30-second unskippable ads as of 2018 and focus instead on formats that work well for both users and advertisers,” said a Google spokesman. HTC’s new VR headset is coming sooner than you think
Given the recent dips in the number of mobile units that HTC has shipped, the company has quickly refocused all of its attention to the VR industry. At a developer conference in Shenzhen last year, HTC’s company sales President Chia-lin Chang had confirmed that they were working internally on a mobile VR solution, but had told the audience that it might be a while before we could get our hands on it. The Dublin Tech Summit (DTS) is an international technology conference held in Dublin, Ireland. The first summit is planned for 15 and 16 February 2017, at the Convention Centre Dublin in the city’s “Silicon Docks”.
