Qualcomm announces chips with next generation Wi-Fi

The 802.11ac Wi-Fi standard arrived a few years ago and has become the new standard for long enough, it has found its way into everything except the cheapest phones and laptops. It’s going to stay as a mainstream standard for at least a couple more years, but just a few days ago, a new replacement appeared on the horizon.

Qualcomm has announced a pair of chips compatible with the new 802.11ax standard. YouTube is Planning to Kill Unskippable 30 Second Ads Starting 2018

An Unskippable 1 minute YouTube Ad

Are you one of the many users who visibly groan when you are try to show a YouTube video to a friend, but an unskippable ad pops up? Perhaps, it is time for you to rejoice. In an official statement, Google explained that it aims to provide a more balanced advertising experience for it’s consumers. “As part of that, we’ve decided to stop supporting 30-second unskippable ads as of 2018 and focus instead on formats that work well for both users and advertisers,” said a Google spokesman. HTC confirms the Vive Mobile

HTC’s new VR headset is coming sooner than you think

Given the recent dips in the number of mobile units that HTC has shipped, the company has quickly refocused all of its attention to the VR industry. NEON – the new look of Windows 10

Microsoft confirms the existence of NEON during a meeting with developers, offering a first look of the new design of Windows 10.

Project NEON is the name given by Microsoft to indicate the new Windows 10 stylistic path which will be enabled with Redstone 3, expected by the end of the year. The look was revealed as a background image in Microsoft’s sneak peak of Windows 10.
